Life Wear Technologies, Inc. produces and markets a comprehensive line of athletic supports and braces which are merchandised through national superstore chains, as well as through private label distributors. Life Wear Technologies' brands not only service specific segments of the sporting goods and healthcare markets, the company also produces ballistic knee and elbow pads for military and law enforcement professionals. Point Blank Solutions Technology Center
As the product development arm of Point Blank Body Armor and PACA Body Armor, PBSI’s Technology Center operates the most comprehensive and state-of-the-art ballistic research and testing laboratory which is located in the company’s 107,000 square foot corporate headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida. The Technology Center includes an industry leading research and development team comprised of chemical engineers, polymer chemists, ballistic specialists, and seasoned law enforcement and military professionals.
Incorporated into the Technology Center are two 75 foot ballistic shooting test ranges. The ranges are equipped to meet all of the requirements of an NIJ certified ballistic testing facility and have the capability to test a full spectrum of projectiles from 22 to 50 caliber projectiles or bullets, as well as 2, 4, 6, 16 and 64 grain Fragment Simulating Projectiles (FSP). This capability allows our product development and engineering teams to test not only to NIJ requirements, but also military fragmentation and international requirements.
PBSI’s Technology Center is in the forefront of the next generation in body armor technology. The Technology Center is credited with industry leading research and development, design, testing, and certification resulting in proprietary technology covered by 23 issued and pending patents and nearly 120 NIJ Certifications. In addition, PBSI actively collaborates with Government and commercial labs to develop new protective solutions.
Point Blank Solutions Government and International Liaison Office
The Point Blank Solutions, Inc. Liaison Office in Washington, D.C. supports corporate objectives by coordination with Governmental and International representatives in the Washington, DC area, to include securing required export licenses and permits, interacting with Congressional and Federal Agency staffs, and communicating with the International Community. The Liaison Office also supports International and Domestic Sales by providing a strategically-placed product showroom and meeting facility to present our first class protection solutions and safety apparel directly to potential customers.
