Army Orders DHB Vest Conversion Kits

DHB Industries said one of its subsidiaries has received a contract with the U.S. Army worth as much as $169 million over three years.

The Pompano Beach-based protective body armor maker said its Point Blank Body Armor unit received an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to supply the Army with OTV conversion kits. Such kits are in a camouflage pattern and have a base outer shell carrier, ballistic yoke and collar, ballistic groin protector and ballistic throat protector.
